SWAC’s Mobile Authentication Tool (MAT) is a secure application accessible exclusively to authorized users within the Secure Worker Access Consortium’s trusted community portal. Designed for security professionals, MAT facilitates rapid verification of member credentials via mobile devices, enabling real-time access to records, identity confirmation, and validation of essential personal attributes aligned with applicable security and safety policies. This functionality supports ongoing workforce compliance monitoring across diverse locations.

In response to evolving threat levels, additional access criteria can be dynamically integrated into specific location requirements, immediately influencing the real-time assessment of individual eligibility. Such adaptive measures enhance situational awareness and operational security.

Upon successful completion of all required enrollment procedures and background checks, users are presented with a green indicator signifying compliance with the designated program standards for that location. Each site has the flexibility to define its specific eligibility parameters, drawing from SWAC’s comprehensive suite of compliance services (e.g., Secure Worker™, Safe Worker™, Safe Driver™), or utilizing tailored customer-specific qualifications. Conversely, failure to meet any specified criteria results in a red indicator, clearly signaling access restrictions to the user.

MAT also features prominent display of each individual’s photograph alongside key physical characteristics—such as height, weight, hair, and eye color—to facilitate reliable identity verification during access attempts. To ensure respect for privacy rights, the authentication process yields a straightforward binary outcome—approved or denied—based solely on the comparison of presented and stored credentials.
